About the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96
The Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 is a compact 96% gaming keyboard that keeps the essential function keys while trimming the footprint. It uses Hall Effect magnetic switches, which register key presses without physical contact, delivering a smooth, consistent feel and virtually no debounce delay. Adjustable actuation lets you set the travel distance to match your play style, and the Rapid Trigger feature reduces the distance between successive keystrokes for faster response. The build is solid, with a metal backplate and detachable cable, making it suitable for long gaming sessions.
Design
The keyboard keeps a 96% layout, retaining function row and navigation cluster in a tighter chassis. Its Hall Effect switches sit beneath the keycaps, and the frame is reinforced for stability. The keycaps are made of double-shot ABS for durability, and the overall construction feels solid enough for intense play.

- Competitive shooters that benefit from low-latency Hall Effect switches.
- MMO or RTS players who appreciate the extra macro keys in the 96% layout.
