Turtle Beach Atlas Air key specifications
About the Turtle Beach Atlas Air
The Atlas Air sits in Turtle Beach’s Gaming Headsets & Audio line as an open-back, wireless option. Its driver design aims for a spacious soundstage, letting directional cues stand out in shooters, RPGs, and competitive titles. It connects via a 2.4 GHz dongle, offering low latency for fast-paced games.
Because the ear cups are open, the headset stays light and breathable for long sessions, but it also lets ambient noise in, which can be a drawback in noisy environments. Battery life typically covers several hours of play.
Design
The Atlas Air features an open-back ear cup design with a matte plastic shell and a flexible headband. The ear pads are made of breathable mesh, keeping heat down, and the overall weight feels light enough for extended wear comfortably.
Where it fits
- Open-air gaming rigs where you want a wide soundstage.
- Wireless play on PC or console without tether constraints.
- Long sessions in shooters or RPGs that benefit from positional audio.
- Players who prefer a lightweight headset for comfort.
- Environments where you don’t need full noise isolation.
Before you buy
Confirm the headset includes the required 2.4 GHz wireless dongle for your platform and verify that the ear-cup size fits your head.
If you need strong isolation for noisy rooms or a closed-back design for bass emphasis, look for a different model.
