About the Turtle Beach Stealth 500
The Turtle Beach Stealth 500 sits in the Gaming Headsets & Audio category as a wireless solution that adds Bluetooth connectivity for mobile audio. It uses a flip-to-mute microphone, so you can silence yourself quickly. The headset is positioned as the best budget wireless option, offering a balance of freedom from cords and basic features that most casual players expect. It delivers clear stereo sound for most game titles and supports voice chat via the mic. Battery life is sufficient for typical gaming sessions, and the Bluetooth link lets you switch to phone calls without removing the headset. The design keeps weight low enough for extended wear.
Design
The Stealth 500 has a matte black finish with subtle Turtle Beach branding. The ear cups are over-ear and padded with synthetic leather, providing a comfortable seal. The headband uses a lightweight plastic frame and includes an adjustable slider. Controls for volume and mic mute are placed on the ear cup for easy access during play.
