About the AOC 24G2
The AOC 24G2 sits in the Gaming Monitors category as a straightforward option for those new to high refresh rates. It combines a standard 24-inch size with a 1080p resolution, which remains the sweet spot for many competitive PC setups. The 144Hz refresh rate is the key upgrade here, reducing motion blur compared to standard 60Hz panels. This makes fast-paced action feel significantly more responsive and easier to track.
Design
The monitor features a standard 24-inch form factor designed to fit typical desk setups. As an entry-level model, it likely prioritizes function over elaborate aesthetics. Check the specific listing for details on the stand's adjustability, such as tilt or height, as these can vary by region or revision.
Where it fits

- Standard 1080p PC gaming setups
- First-time buyers upgrading from 60Hz displays
