About the MonsGeek FUN60 Ultra
The MonsGeek FUN60 Ultra is a 60% gaming keyboard that relies on Hall Effect switches for smooth, contactless actuation. It offers an 8K polling rate and adjustable actuation distance, giving users precise control over key response. The compact layout saves desk space while still providing essential keys for gaming and typing.
Its low profile and magnetic switch design reduce latency, making it suitable for fast-paced games where timing matters. The adjustable actuation lets players fine-tune the feel to match their preference, whether they favor a light or heavy key press. Overall, it delivers reliable performance at a budget-friendly price point.
Design
The FUN60 Ultra features a slim, 60% chassis with a minimalistic layout. It lacks a numeric keypad and dedicated function row, keeping the keyboard small and portable. The build uses a sturdy plastic frame and a magnetic switch housing, typical of Hall Effect keyboards. The design emphasizes a clean look without extra RGB or decorative elements.
Where it fits
- Compact gaming setups where desk space is limited.
- Players who prefer a 60% layout for faster hand movement.
- Budget-conscious gamers looking for Hall Effect performance.
- Competitive shooters needing quick key response.
Before you buy
Check the listing for the exact switch type and confirm compatibility with your operating system. Verify the keyboard’s size and layout to ensure it fits your desk.
If you need a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad or dedicated function keys, this 60% model may be too small. If you require RGB lighting or a mechanical switch type other than Hall Effect, look elsewhere.
Who it is for
Gamers who prefer a small footprint and fast key response will find the FUN60 Ultra a good fit. Its Hall Effect switches and adjustable actuation allow fine-tuning for competitive shooters or quick-play sessions. The keyboard’s compact size is ideal for limited desk space or portable gaming rigs.
Setup tips
- Connect the keyboard via USB and let the driver install automatically.
- Use the manufacturer's software to adjust actuation distance if needed.
- Keep the magnetic switch area clean from dust.
