About the MSI MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36
The MSI MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 is a 34-inch ultrawide Gaming Monitor that combines a 360 Hz refresh rate with QD-OLED panel technology. Its 21:9 aspect ratio gives a wide field of view, useful for both fast-paced shooters and immersive RPGs. At 360 Hz the display can render motion with minimal blur, and the QD-OLED panel offers deep blacks and vibrant colors, which helps spot enemies in dark scenes. The monitor also supports adaptive sync, reducing tearing during high-frame-rate gameplay for most competitive setups.
Design
The MPG 341CQR features a slim, matte-finished chassis with thin bezels on the long sides, giving a near-borderless look across the 34-inch screen. The stand offers tilt adjustment, and the back panel houses the typical VESA mounting points. Build quality feels solid, matching MSI’s gaming aesthetic.
Where it fits
- Competitive FPS rigs that benefit from ultra-high refresh and low input lag.
- Sim racing or flight sims where the ultrawide field of view adds immersion.
- RPG or open-world games where the wide aspect enhances scenery.
- Streamers who want a high-performance display without sacrificing color depth.
Before you buy
Confirm the listed model includes the QD-OLED panel and that the 34-inch size matches your desk space and VESA mounting requirements.
If you prioritize a higher resolution over refresh rate, or need a more budget-friendly monitor, the MPG 341CQR may not be the best fit.
