Lenovo Legion Go S

About the Lenovo Legion Go S

The Lenovo Legion Go S is a Windows-based handheld gaming PC that puts a full PC experience into a size you can hold in your hands. It runs the same games you would play on a desktop, using the same operating system and software ecosystem, so you can access your existing library without needing a separate console. Because it’s a self-contained device, you can game on the couch, on a train, or in a dorm room without extra hardware. The built-in controls let you play directly, and the unit can be hooked to an external monitor for a larger view. Expect shorter battery life and a heavier feel compared with dedicated consoles.

Design

The Legion Go S follows a clamshell layout with a 7-inch display that folds over a set of integrated gamepad buttons and thumbsticks. Lenovo’s chassis uses a plastic body with a matte finish, giving it a solid feel without excessive weight. The device includes built-in speakers and a USB-C port for power or external display.

Where it fits

• Play PC titles on the go wherever you have power
• Connect to a TV or monitor for couch gaming
• Use the built-in controller for indie or multiplayer games
• Travel with a portable PC for long commutes

Before you buy

Confirm the exact CPU, RAM, and storage configuration listed for the Legion Go S, and verify that the USB-C port supports video output if you plan to use an external monitor.

If you prioritize long battery life, ultra-light weight, or a lower price, a dedicated handheld console like the Nintendo Switch may suit you better.
