PreSonus Eris E4.5

About the PreSonus Eris E4.5

The PreSonus Eris E4.5 is a pair of studio monitors designed for clear, balanced sound. Each speaker features a 4.5-inch driver that delivers tight lows, detailed mids, and crisp highs. They are powered by a dedicated amplifier that keeps the signal clean. The monitors are compact enough for small desks yet robust enough for a home studio or gaming rig. These monitors are part of the Speakers & Soundbars category, offering a budget-friendly option for gamers who need accurate audio without a large footprint. The 2.0 channel setup provides stereo imaging that helps locate in-game sounds. They come with a built-in crossover to separate high and low frequencies, and a simple front-panel volume control for quick adjustments.

Design

The Eris E4.5 has a minimalist cabinet with a matte finish and a black front panel. The speakers sit on a small, sturdy base and feature a single front-panel volume knob. The overall size keeps the unit low profile, making it easy to place near a monitor or on a small desk.

Before you buy

Check the exact model number and verify the included cables match your PC audio output. Confirm the speaker dimensions fit your desk space.

If you need surround sound or a larger speaker footprint, look for a 5.1 or 7.1 system. If you want a higher-end studio monitor with larger drivers, consider a 5-inch model.

Who it is for

The Eris E4.5 is ideal for players who need accurate sound without a large speaker setup. Its compact 4.5-inch drivers provide balanced audio for PC gaming, music, and casual recording. The pair is suitable for small desks or home studios where space and budget are priorities.

Setup tips

• Place speakers at ear level for optimal imaging.
